St Richard's Open for Regular Worship

Father Danny Pegg will lead the service as we open St Richard's for regular worship on Wednesdays and Sundays, commencing on 5th August at 10 o'clock, all are welcome. To be safe in Church we have listed a set of 'Church guidelines' based on the Government advice.

'Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful. ... And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him'.

Church Guidelines 

*The back door is no longer in use, please use the front church entrance to enter and exit the church

*Please note when entering the church for the service, the Churchwardens will direct you to your marked pew as part of the assigned seating guidelines please adhere to these seats as they have been marked out for your safety

*Only people living in the same house can sit together there are NO exceptions to this rule and does not include your social bubble, this is for your safety and the safety of others, in this instance the Churchwardens will direct you to a family pew

*Hand sanitiser will be available for your use, please use when entering the church, beforeyou partake of communion and as you exit the church

*You will find pew sheets on the designated pews please take them home 

*Currently there will be No singing during our services

*Please note the disabled toilets will be open for use and will be fully sanitised for your safety

*Receiving communion standing is required as the communion rail is not to be used

*Communion will be placed in the hands only

*Communion will be given to one person at a time and the Churchwardens will direct you, the next communion will take place only when the previous church member has retaken their seat

*Once the service has concluded please exit the church and leave immediately and for your safety please remember the 2 metre rule,ideally please head for home immediately

*Please do not mingle prior to the service or after the service
